What a ride it was to team up with Crafty Apes on the “Just a Girl” sequence for No Doubt at the Sphere in Vegas earlier this year. I jumped in as CG Sequence Lead and got my hands on pretty much everything
layout, modeling, texturing, lookdev, lighting and rendering in Maya/V-Ray, with some Houdini, Substance Painter, ZBrush and Photoshop sprinkled in, and even a bit of animation along the way ( unbelievable )
Still kinda surreal to see it light up that screen
